June 22nd, 2009
Through his creative company, Design Addicts, Richard Misso works to expose brands to the right audience through a range of strategies including Architectural representation, Print media Advertising and packaging design.
“In an over-saturated industry designers are bombarded with new products. Suppliers employ my services to gain a wider audience within the design community, whilst designers enjoy liaising with one person for various products,” Misso says.
Richard Misso is no stranger to design and has spent 10 years serving the design community and growing brands in Australia and abroad.
“The design industry is a dynamic place that feeds & nourishes my mind,” he says, “I am constantly excited and blown away to find Australian design practices pushing the envelope and setting global benchmarks.”
Design Addicts aims to extend brand exposure through networking initiatives by keeping the design community abreast of new products while creating a relaxed approach to product promotion – leading to specfifcation across a myriad of projects.
“I look after a variety of architectural/ interior design products and the suppliers enjoy the benefits of having another product not from their range create opportunities for their ranges… I am often refereed to as a one stop shop or the ‘net worker’, often hooking designers up with whatever they are looking for.”
Misso has a proven track record promoting some well-known design brands, including Designer Rugs, The Elton Group sustainable Italian Veneers, Alternative Surfaces Architectural coating systems and Italian Acoustic Systems + Vision control films.
These and other leading brands have benefited from Design Addicts support, taking advantage of their unique print media campaigns. Design Addicts customers will also soon be offered an online avenue.
“The online component will enable the A+D community to view products and services on offer by Design Addicts,” Misso says, “and later in 2009 we will be offering interactive online presentations, where a designer can learn more about new products whist interacting with the presenter from their computer.”
