Day Four

08 October 2009

Day Four

Day four rounds out a great trip for Miss Festa!

Day Four

I’m tired. My feet hurt. So does my head after last night’s festivities. But I was silly enough to make a 9am appointment (with someone I knew would understand my fragile state). Espresso please!

More bathroom furniture to learn about and can I just say I did not once get bored of looking at these impressive companies. To be honest before I left Australia I thought to myself “four straight days of bathrooms and tiles has got to get a little boring”. By the end of it I was so impressed with every new company I met and product I saw!

Zucchetti/KOS
won best stand (above) and it was impressive I must say! In the afternoon I spent some more time just on the tile front where I met the lovely Andrea from LEA Ceramiche, wandered around San Agostino where I learnt about digital printing.

A funky stand was definitely Trend, with their glass mosaics and vibrantly-coloured stand. They have such an expansive colour palette that was impressive, as well as their new introduction of backing on the mosaics so that they can be laid as larger tiles – making the application process simpler.

Ok, my legs are aching and I have achieved everything I wanted to at this fair – goodbye Cersaie 2009 and hello Nu Bar for some wine and cheese with a few lovely friends!
