Mode Design is pleased to announce the upcoming acquisition of The Architects Studio in Darwin.
The works of The Architects Studio have been nationally recognised as ’representing best practice in design for the whole of Northern Australia’, and have received numerous RAIA awards for architectural excellence, and sustainable, energy-efficient design appropriate to the climatic conditions of Northern Australia.
Having collaborated closely on a wide range of projects since 2000, this merger is a natural progression for both firms.
Peter Fletcher, Director of The Architects Studio, will continue to provide a range of specialist design services from Darwin. Mode Design will provide an enhanced level of flexibility and agility in resourcing with over 40 staff nationally in the Brisbane Corporate Headquarters, Sunshine Coast, and Sydney.
Founded in 1991 as Rhonan O’Brien Architects, Mode Design’s key personnel offer a significant depth of experience in multi-unit residential, commercial, retail, educational, industrial, health care, and community, and sports and recreational facilities. The multidisciplinary firm offers expertise in architecture, project management, master planning and urban design, graphic design and 3D visualization, and interior design.
