Entries to the Viridian 2012 Vision Awards are now open, with a trip to the 2012 Venice Biennale as the major prize.
The Vision Awards celebrate and promote the energy efficient and innovative use of glass in Australian architecture. Submissions are open to projects completed between 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2011.
The prize pool consists of:
2012 Overall Vision Award Winner – a trip to Venice and 2 x Vernissage Passes to the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale, courtesy of Viridian and the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA).
Commercial Energy Efficient Glass Design – $1000 prize money
Residential Energy Efficient Glass Design – $1000 prize money
Commercial Creative Interior Glass Application – $1000 prize money
Residential Creative Interior Glass Application – $1000 prize money
Entries close 31 April 2012, with the winner announced at the AIA’s National Architecture Conference in Brisbane on 10-12 May 2012.
