Challenge the way you think about cities with “The Art of City Making: How Imagination and Creativity Play Their Part” as part of the City of Sydney’s CityTalks 2011.

This live discussion will feature guest speaker Charles Landry, an urbanist and passionate defender of the role imagination and creativity plays in developing cities and invigorating local economies.

A panel discussion from some of our leading creative thinkers will then explore how we can unlock and marshal Sydney’s creative energy.

Panel members are Dr James Bradfield Moody, Executive Director, Development, CSIRO; Jess Scully, Director, Creative Sydney; Emile Sherman, Producer, See-Saw Films; Roderick Simpson, Associate Professor in Urban Design, University of Sydney and Principal, Simpson+Wilson Architecture+Urban Design; and Dr Rodney Tolley, Conference Director, Walk 21.

Adam Spencer will lead the evening as MC, and Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP will present the keynote address.
