The depth and tactile nature of the earth and its materials, the power of wind and the tantalising magic of fire; these are the elements Workshopped is choosing to explore in their installation for Sydney Indesign.

Moving through Earth, Wind and Fire, Workshopped will cleverly pinpoint key senses to engage you, heightening your experience of each of the elements.

A darkened room will allow you to truly connect with Earth, with stunning natural materials highlighted in clever ways. Moving forward, you’ll experience Wind, with silent fans beautifully affecting the carefully crafted environment. Finally, a Fire-pit will perfectly complement the fiery burnished copper lights.

This three-minute experience will engage your senses and open your mind. Expect an immersive experience with truly authentic pieces – a rare treat in an often soul-less marketplace!

After the experience is over, you’ll be free to chat with the team to discover more about these beautiful, Australian designed products. You’ll also have the chance to get up close and personal, and experience the vibrant soul of truly authentic, bespoke pieces.

One exciting brand featured will be Vintage LED, a lighting brand that offers solutions that are easy on the eye and the electricity bill.

Want more Australian design? Workshopped are also exhibiting works at the Supa Centre, Moore Park until the 23rd of August.

This year they asked designers to consider how they might reshape, redefine, or reinvent materials to create new classics.  All their work had to relate in some way to architecture, whether local or international. The results are spectacular.
