Meet the new RH Mereo Duo and Light Grey by Scandinavian Business Seating – the perfect manifestation of easy reconfiguration and intuitive ergonomics for active sitting. This high-performance chair, by Stockholm-headquartered design studio Veryday, is available with new colour and upholstery-design options.
If there’s anything that today’s high-performance shared workspaces need, it’s furniture that gives designers as well as workers options. On the first point, designers are well looked after with RH Mereo’s new shell-back colour. Light grey expands the available colour palette from black with a brighter tone and a more modern feel.
An expanded selection of upholstery fabrics can now be applied in combinations of two colours with contrast stitching. This greatly enhances customisation options for designers, making it possible to inject a specific personality into a space. The contrast stitching option recalls the details of fine tailoring.
RH Mereo has always performed well in terms of providing workers with options for optimising their comfort. It was designed for the versatility of quick and easy reconfiguration in line with the shift toward group environments in today’s offices. The tapered form of the chair back encourages upper-body movement with lateral shoulder movement. The pronounced side wings provide sideways support and enhance comfort. And best of all, an upright posture – and the associated benefits of improved breathing and increased oxygen uptake – is encouraged by the sculpted upper part of the chair back, which pushes gently in between the shoulder blades.
The result, of course, is that RH Mereo helps you to achieve an active yet well-supported sitting position, better concentration and enhanced performance.
