The Sheer Transformative Power of Hunter Douglas’ Silhouette

Too dark, too bright, too exposed, too cluttered, too complicated – adjusting the natural light in the interior while maintaining privacy with blinds is a delicate balancing act. It’s no wonder that the Silhouette Window Shadings from Hunter Douglas has been a category leader for over 25 years.

The brilliantly engineered range features adjustable S-shaped vanes that are soft to the touch and appear to be floating between two planes of sheer fabric. There are no cords or tapes between the vanes and the fabric, which allows a clean, uncluttered look. The undulating plane of Silhouette’s signature S-shaped vanes presents an unobstructed view while maintaining the interior’s privacy from the outside world. To adjust the light and visibility, simply tilt the vanes by hand.

Silhouette is offered with many operating systems, from easy-to-operate cord systems to an intuitive button-touch remote control system. The range also includes the Silhouette Duolite, which features an additional room-darkening roller shade that can be operated together or separately, adding another dimension to the opacity control of the system.

Hunter Douglas rounds off the offering with the Alustra Collection – a thoughtfully curated collection of custom window treatments exclusive to the brand, which includes hardware finishes, window sheers and fabrics in various colours and textures.
