The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, now in its eighth year, is a globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces.

The Awards invites and receives entries from the world’s top architects, designers and hospitality operators. Past winners from 2015 have included The Jane (Belgium) by Studio Piet Boon, Dandelyan (London) by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio, and RAW (Taiwan, Province of China) by WEIJENBERG.

This year’s judges are all influential personalities from the design, lifestyle and hospitality sectors. They include Mari Balestrazzi, Vice President, Hyatt Hotels Corporation (US); Yu Bing, Editor in Chief, Domus (China); Piet Boon, Founder, Design Studio Piet Boon (Netherlands); Guy Dittrich, Editor at Large, Sleeper Magazine (UK); and Brian Williams, Managing Director, Swire Hotels (HK), just to name a few.

Submissions can be entered in a total of 34 categories. The winners, including the top honours of best designed restaurant and the best designed bar (UK and Worldwide), will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 29 September 2016.
Closing date for entries is 17 April 2016.
