“We recognise our client priorities presently are both social and environmental, in order to function sustainably in the business world today; these take priority in our operations,” says Walter Pecenko, General Manager of DDK.

“As a result, many of our products and new materials exceed legislation and design for Australian standards.”

Core to DDK’s design philosophy is a strong belief that good design is a combination of innovation and evolution. “This evolution is guided by strong knowledge of ground-breaking ideas in workplace change and development.”

New directions, design and development are the cornerstones of DDK’s research and development team, and has seen the company engage the expert knowledge of designer, Mark Watson, to direct new product development and design management.

Acknowledging the power of new design generations, DDK has also undertaken a graduate employment program with RMIT industrial design graduate, Joe Li, joining the team earlier this year.

Working alongside their dynamic R&D team, DDK’s sales and customer service teams provide a high level of professional service from individual purchases through to full turnkey solutions, including planning, CAD design, product procurement, delivery and installation services.

The DDK head office is located in Brunswick, Melbourne, with on-site showrooms and advanced manufacturing operations utilising the latest CNC technology. “Quality and being innovative with our products are the ’secret sauce’ that allow us to stand out in the vast sea that is commercial office manufacturing,” says Pecenko.

“We really excel at product, people and performance and, as our collection of products continues to grow and evolve, we look forward to wowing customers and impressing potential clients.”
