Designed to connect, evolve and thrive in the Sydney locale of Kogarah is Veridian – a residential haven that celebrates the community culture. Luxurious and comfortable, it’s the perfect place to call home.
November 14th, 2019
The suburb of Kogarah is a peaceful, established locale situated just 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD. Not far from the Brighton-Le-Sands beach and Botany Bay, Kogarah offers residents an abundance of amenities making it an ideal place that many love to call home. Central to the St George area, Kogarah encompasses many time-honored institutions including the Kogarah RSL.
The Kogarah RSL board took the decision to seek a development partner to help them position themselves for the future, and after a detailed process, appointed Capital Bluestone. With a focus on partnering with clients to deliver communities that connect, evolve and thrive, Capital Bluestone and the Club collaborated on a vision for their property, and appointed the award-winning multi-disciplinary design studio Scott Carver to bring the vision of their new Veridian development to life.
When asked about the brief for Veridian, Capital Bluestone’s Managing Director, Ben Fairfax explained: “We had the chance to set a new benchmark for this style of development in this area. The ‘gateway’ nature of the site at the entrance to the Kogarah CBD presented an opportunity to create a well-considered architectural design that would sit as a striking landmark – but more importantly would deliver the Club with brilliant new facilities, while helping them maximise the return on their property by combining that with a brand new residential apartment community above.”
Now complete, Veridian Kogarah incorporates the rejuvenated 2000 sqm Kogarah RSL club, along with 220 residential apartments, three levels of basement car parking and a 600sqm commercial space. The apartments completed in June 2019, with the club completed and opened during late September.
The newly revitalized RSL club is fronted by street level dining, café and bar areas, while Veridian residents and their guests can enjoy the landscaped podium level, and roof top garden with outdoor cinema, all of which, provides an amazing outdoor amenity and relaxation space. Veridian Kogarah has proven to have immense appeal to a wide range of first home buyers, investors and owner occupiers. The mix of apartment types include Studio, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, and all incorporate premium finishes throughout, including Bosch kitchen and laundry appliances.
For those who enjoy cooking and entertaining at home, the Bosch kitchen appliances will certainly impress. Designed to make everyday life easier, Bosch appliances represent uncompromising quality, technical perfection and absolute reliability. The Bosch Series 6 oven specified in the Veridian apartments is easy to use and cooks perfectly with heating functions including hot air grilling and 3D Hotair.
Teamed with a Bosch stainless steel gas cooktop, slideout rangehood and a semi-integrated dishwasher with the option to upgrade to a fully integrated dishwasher, the kitchens throughout Veridian tick all the boxes for functionality. In terms of aesthetics, residents will be enjoying light filled spaces with stunning contemporary finishes that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
When asked what response the buyers of Veridian apartments had with regard to the kitchens, Mr. Fairfax said: “Once buyers undertook their pre-settlement inspections, overall feedback was extremely positive with respect to the quality of the finishes and appliances installed.”
With the newly refurbished RSL club now open and the development being only minutes from the train station and local village, residents who now call Veridian Kogarah home are sure to enjoy a vibrant lifestyle while being able to relax in contemporary elegance within their beautifully-appointed apartment.
