This timber collection of tables and stools has looked to the racing industry for inspiration

A fact well known amongst the motorsport faithful is that Formula One engines are integrated into the chassis of the vehicle – the source of the propulsion is the unit itself!
In designing this handsome collection of timber furnishings, Tide Design’s George Harper took a similar approach.

In the case of the Senna tables, the tops form part of the structure, or chassis, which results in efficient use of materials and ultimate versatility.
Triangulation of the leg structure provides structural integrity and high load bearing ability.

Designed and crafted in Australia, Senna is offered as a rectangular dining table, round café table as well as small stools/side tables, the warmth of the American Oak structure is pleasantly complemented by the two pack lacquer finishes.
