At Sydney Indesign this year, Reece presented two new Roca toilet designs, set to revolutionise one of the most important elements of the bathroom.

Presented as part of Sydney Indesign 2015, Reece revealed two new toilet designs from world-leading bathroom designer, Roca. Fresh from their international launch at ISH bathroom fair in March this year, the two new Roca toilet suites were in-situ at the Reece Bathroom showroom in Waterloo, Sydney, where members of the architecture and design community could view the results of Roca’s research and development first-hand.
A cornerstone of the bathroom that has remained relatively unchanged for decades, Roca has injected the humble toilet with in-tank toilet technology and rimless pan design to improve functionality and installation, as well as hygiene.

Leading the charge is the Meridian In-Tank from Roca, a world first, all-in-one solution that integrates the cistern and button seamlessly into the pan. Merging all the essential elements into a single structure, the Meridian In-Tank eliminates the need to install the cistern and button into the wall. The toilet turns design and functionality on its head, upping the ante with Soft Air® Technology for an efficient, quiet flush.
With a particular focus on superior design and hygiene, The Gap Rimless from Roca eliminates the need for excessive cleaning thanks to its innovative rimless pan. Designed as a continuous surface free of edged angles, grooves or gaps, the pan allows water to flow smoothly along its inner perimeter, moving in a circular motion towards the lower outlet. Dirt is quickly removed, rather than accumulating in grooves or gaps, meaning higher hygiene and better cleaning.
Driven by the passion of its Spanish heritage, Roca continues to explore new possibilities that enhance living in the bathroom. These two latest toilet designs represent a new era in bathroom design, and a new way in which we use the bathroom space.
