What does your company supply?
NSW Leather supplies finished leather tanned hides to the Manufacturing Industry across Australia, New Zealand and into Asia. NSW Leather is responsible for supplying the full range of leather products suitable for predominantly the Furniture Industry but also the Footwear and Garment Industry.
We also supply a full range of Natural and Coloured Cowhide rugs, cushions and Bags suitable for homewares and furniture.
What’s the history of your company?
The Company was started in Australia in 1950 however it is a third generation family company that began in Europe in the early 1900s. Since that time NSW Leather has grown to be the largest Leather Importer in Australia with offices in all of the major centres. We also have a warehouse in New Zealand and a sales office located in China selling throughout Asia.
Where do you distribute?
There is an intensive distribution network throughout the whole of Australia, however we are regularly supplying products into Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and China.
Describe your customers?
Our Customers range from the small bespoke manufacturers through to the largest corporations in their field.
What sets your company apart?
The difference between NSW Leather and its competitors is that we stock the largest selection of different types of leathers in Australia. Within the Furniture, Commercial Industry we can offer product from the most basic pigmented leather through to Semi Aniline, Full Aniline, Nubuck and Oily Pull-up variations.
These we also offer at the most competitive prices available. This reputation for range of article, well priced product and impeccable service has given us the reputation that sets us apart from our competitors.

What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
The current priorities that our Clients have would be achieving colour and individuality from the vast range of product that we have.
What is good design to you?
Good design represents practicality and longevity in the products utilisation.
We see the future as being very bright as people embrace our wide range of products. We have developed specialised outdoor leathers which are unique in Australia as well as chrome free leathers for products which require an environmental sensitivity.
As more people become aware of the range of leathers and prices that we can offer for good quality items, our name will spread as it has through the Commercial and Residential Industry and this name will then become synonymous with quality and reliability that is important in the current environment that we have.
