Instyle has introduced a new aesthetic to its intelligent acoustic panel range with the launch of the Axis and Opus prints.

The new prints, Axis and Opus, confidently express vastness in scale and provide opportunities for designers to incorporate pattern into a space, without overwhelming existing interior aesthetics.

Developed from a single line sketch, Axis alters the rules of geometry by changing the 90-degree angles in order to create playful, unpredictable relationships from one shape to another. Reminiscent of architectural diagrams, the straight lines echo man-made forms and tension through structure. Despite the straight geometric nature, the shapes cascade from one to another to create an all over rhythm.

In contrast, Opus’ hand drawn organic shapes are inspired by biophilic design, as well as our inherent urge to affiliate with natural forms. Large scale, Opus provides a sense of calm with its free flowing nature and balance of positive and negative space.

The designs can be used as full panel artworks or equally cut down, working well as abstract sections for smaller areas.

Low VOC and Greentag Level A certified, the acoustic panels can absorb up to 100% of sound depending on the panel thickness and ideal for walls and ceilings.
