Dauphin’s ’Lordo’ office swivel chair combines ergonomics with architectural design.
September 16th, 2010
Designed by Martin Ballendat for Dauphin, a brand of the Dauphin HumanDesign Group, ‘Lordo’ is an office swivel chair whose combination of architectural design and automatic ergonomics is winning accolades around the world.
‘Lordo’ makes comfort simple with automatic ergonomic functions. The self-aligning lumbar, synchronised movement and Auto-Glide-System all work together to ensure the seat depth automatically adjusts to meet individual needs.
This advanced and compact mechanism is combined with a light, modern design.
The adjustable mesh backrest features horizontal stripes and is available in black or light grey. Made from Lycra, its elastic properties make it comfortable as well as helping to regulate pressure.
Dauphin offers a complete range of ‘Lordo’ chairs – a classic office swivel chair, executive chair, cantilever chair and conference swivel chair.
In 2009, ‘Lordo’ won the Focus in Silver prize in the Focus Open, the Design Center Stuttgart’s design prize.
The Lordo chair is available from the following suppliers:
Corporate Culture Sydney/Brisbane/Melbourne
Innerspace Commercial Interiors Perth
Ino Contract Furniture Canberra
