Futu – short for ‘future’ – is indeed the chair of the future. It offers unparalleled comfort in a beautifully elegant and slender profile. HAG ‘s new intelligent integrated seat mechanism (known as inBalance®) is delicately hidden in its clean and smooth design, while allowing users a simple means for making subtle adjustment to the chair without knobs or levers.

Striving to be the most environmentally friendly chair on the market, the Futu is manufactured using a minimum of energy and only seven different materials, where each component has been engineered to optimize use of the material.

Outfitted in HAG’s new 3D knitted “FutuKnit” fabric – specially and precisely designed, shaped and fitted for the Futu – it self-adjusts to the user’s individual curvature of the body. It provides a considerably higher level of seating comfort with soft upholstery, no foam and no seams.

Not only that, but the Futu also has a lot more environmental attributes to offer. Being 97% recyclable, it is designed to be easily disassembled into clean and recyclable materials. Also, no chrome, non-recyclable composites or glue are used in the production process. The Futu is also GREENGUARD certified and has an Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with EN-ISO-14025.

An experience to sit in the future, the Futu provides the best of two worlds, offering an advanced interior and a comfortable exterior.
