Never before FAGERHULT’s Avion has light played with a space’s atmosphere so gracefully.
July 23rd, 2009
It is the soft beauty of FAGERHULT’s new Avion light, designed by Propeller AB, that entrances onlookers and creates an impression of weightlessness.
Valuing aesthetic and technical aspects equally throughout the development process, FAGERHULT produced the Avion light which presents both cutting edge technology and a design encouraging immersion in the visual experience.
Combining thin lines and concaved edges with distinctive colour contrasts that trace the sides of the light, the Avion has a definite presence in a room, emitting a vibe of elegance and strength simultaneously.
To further ensure a feeling of lightness, the Avion was cleverly designed to be visually short in height, all the while compactly housing the light source and necessary technology.
When installed, Avion forms flowing lines of light which play magic on the walls of the space it illuminates. The addition of angle plates provides versatility and the potential to build curving lines that vary at each connection point.
Ranging from direct to indirect, Avion offers five different lighting options, and it is choices such as these, which ensure Avion the flexibility to adapt to suit any space whilst maintaining its superior level of light quality, efficiency and design.
FAGERHULT is committed to creating complete lighting solutions that are appropriate for all spaces and environments; Avion is another piece within their range that truly pays tribute to this unwavering objective.
Available in white with black insert and silver with white insert, this piece was created to hang on single wires from the ceiling, further reinforcing the weightlessness associated with delicate grace.
Avion is available in through Eagle Lighting Australia.
