The bloom pot has two new chic designs and three new lights.

The bloom pot, designed in 2001 by Rob Slewe, can be used for potted plants indoors and out, in the hospitality industry and at parties as a drink cooler. Not only does it have a multitude of uses, its two energy saving globes make it eco-friendly.

Bloom pots can be found in resorts, spa retreats, restaurants, hotels and designer homes all over the world and the were short listed in the 2008 Australian International Design Awards.

The two new designs function in the same way as the bloom pot, however they offer two new looks to suit individual taste. The Pill is cylindrical and slender, while The Bulb is ‘curvaceous and robust’.

In addition, bloom has introduced three new lights: The Portable Lamp, Daylight Lamp and Ornametrica Chandelier.

The Portable Lamp is a fully sealed polypropylene lamp with an inbuilt handle. It is available with a four-metre cord or battery powered. This simple yet effective design is suitable for indoors or out.

The solar powered Daylight Lamp is to be turned upside-down during daylight hours, allowing the solar panel to charge. Once fully charged the Daylight Lamp provides 40 hours of light. Its waterproof feature makes this ideal for outdoor functions.

Ornametrica, designed for Bloom by Aleksej Iskos and Aoalsteinn Stefansson, is a range of chandeliers that change appearance when they are folded, partly of fully unfolded, offering a vast number of looks for different occasions.
