Commercial spaces are softening, but the line between residential and commercial is a very fine one. As part of their 2015 Spring release, Woven Image launches EchoPanel Hammock: A soft and dreamy element to a structured setting.
October 20th, 2015
Just about every commercial designer these days is talking about the “de-corporatisation of the workplace”. Commercial environments are being designed with a warmer, more welcoming vibe; where the focus is comfort and style – ultimately feeling like your own home. But within this mix, we need to remember that workplaces still need to be functional spaces.
Few have managed to achieve that magic balance between work and play and those that have are leading our industry to new systems, which reflect the seemingly disparate needs of an office and a home.
With the release of their latest Spring 2015 ranges, Woven Image bring us a refreshing change from the harsh, geometric edges of the traditional workplace with some two-tone, free-hand playfulness for application on a workstation and/or wall cover. Inspired by Scandinavian artwork, the five Hammock colourways offer a relaxed tribal feel, while maintaining a structured effect necessary in any professional setting.
The five inviting colourways are based on current specification trends, combining peach and lime, sea-foam and teal, beige and duck-egg blue on a crisp white base, with a grey on charcoal and a tonal warm pebble.
Through the perfect balance of free-form, organic design with a functional commercial panel product, EchoPanel® Hammock offers some wonderfully authentic design solutions for double-sided workstation panels to operable walls and vertical feature areas. Sure to make any office feel like home.
