The Vertilux Z1 Zip System™ offers another level above the Fully Enclosed Kassett.
August 11th, 2011
With its zip locking system running the full length of the side channel, the fabric is held in place allowing it to stay intact and fully operational should it receive some accidental force imposed onto it.
Whilst at first glance it looks to be the Fully Enclosed System, by providing a sleek and stylish enclosure for the blind and its mechanisms, with a fully enclosed headbox and full length side rails, the Z1 Zip System™ ensures that the fabric is held in place with the unique zip insert attached to the fabric and side rails. The system can be operated by manual chain on a 4:1 ratio or motorised for ease of use in all situations.
With the added side rails and a room darkening fabric the blind becomes fully enclosed which will totally block out any side light leakage ensuring maximum insulation from the elements. These features also make this the most environmentally friendly choice on the market for anyone wanting to control air conditioning and heating within the interior environment. Perfect for health care, hospitality as well as office fit-out or residential use.
The Vertilux Z1 Zip™ Tension System now allows roller blinds to be used in situations not previously suitable for roller blinds. The Z1 Zip™ Tension system is suitable for skylight applications and angled windows; when all four corners are at 90°. Using this tension system along with the zip locking system, that runs the full length of the side channel, the fabric is held in place at any point of operation. This system is only available motorised.
So, as with the Z1 Zip System™, the Z1 Zip™ Tension System utilises a sleek and stylish enclosure for the blind and its mechanisms, with a 100mm fully enclosed headbox, 70mm deep full length side rails and 56mm enclosed motor casing.
With the added side rails and a room darkening fabric the blind becomes fully enclosed which will totally block out any side light leakage ensuring maximum insulation from the elements or alternatively, using a Translucent or Transparent fabric with suitable Solar Optical Properties for the application.
The head boxes and side guides are manufactured from extruded aluminium and a wide range of powder coated colours and colour coordinated accessories is available.
