Electrolux join forces with DIY king Jamie Durie to redefine outdoor entertaining in 2008
March 26th, 2008
Jamie Durie, Australia’s celebrity landscape designer, is taking his garden design credentials to the barbecue market through a new association with Electrolux.
A decade of growth in kitchen design is now being reflected in the outdoors, with backyards that were once an inadvertent gathering area, now seamlessly integrating into household design for sophisticated entertaining.
Jamie Durie’s wealth of experience in outdoor design – credited both nationally and internationally with over 28 garden design awards – is set to compliment Electrolux’s
commitment to thoughtful design in the area of outdoor entertaining.
As an advocate of ‘the outdoor room’, Jamie is committed to taking the design of the indoors into an outdoor space, and presents the Electrolux Integrated Barbecue that offers the ultimate in outdoor cooking.
“No longer is the backyard barbecue an eyesore. The Electrolux Integrated Barbecue is a unique and stylish barbecue that can be seamlessly built in to any outdoor space, complementing both kitchen innovations indoors and landscape designs outdoors,” says Durie.
