Art Expo 2012 opens September 21st

This year’s Sydney Art Expo promises to be unlike any other visual art event in Australia.

The expo will showcase the best new names in Australian art as well as established galleries and artists, catering for all genres of styles.

’We have been working so hard over the last year to source who Australia’s most promising artists are and ensure that they will be showcased at this year’s event’, Daniel
Heather, Expertise Events Business Manager comments ’There will be something for everyone’s taste from visual art activities, hands-on workshops, sculpture and photography – all under the one roof!’

Sydney Art Expo will cater for everyone from the established art connoisseur to the uninitiated art newbie with education and interactive exhibits a feature at this year’s
event.

Artists showcased at the expo include:
Zheng Zhang (Cary) who started his career with Chinese painting and watercolor, but
most recently has moved towards the unique art of artography and is responsible for
the creation of iRealism Art – producing works of art on his iPhone

Tom Bass: his sculptures remain a much loved legacy of this incredible artist since his
passing; and his wife will be sharing stories on his life, love of art and passion for his work.
John Scott: famed for his amazing and complex visual investigations to his art style, John
will be discussing his unique, scientific view to art and how he creates his coveted
pieces.

Brad Blaze: from entertainer to exhibitor, this ’Entertainer of the Year’ combines an
exciting menu of art, comedy and fire to create unforgettable experiences in art. Brad
has been recognized for his iconic portraits of ’famous’ individuals including Tiger
Woods, Sir Ian Botham and Elvis – completing them in under 4 minutes!
Sydney’s Art Expo will kick off with the highly anticipated ’Art Battles’ where the
audience will be witness to live art creation between two diverse teams.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win an original Tarisse King piece worth
$3,000.
