HYPERCLAY: Contemporary Ceramics represents a new way of looking at ceramics, exploring new attitudes, techniques and technologies that artists in the 21st century are embracing in their work.

The exhibition brings together the work of Walter Auer, Roderick Bamford, Stephen Bird, Jacqueline Clayton, Andrea Hylands, Addison Marshall, Pip McManus and Paul Wood, in an exciting and thought-provoking collection of pieces that stretches the imagination.

Each artist has created something unique and new; the individual pieces are linked through their demonstration of new technology and the process of making, with re-purposed materials used to create new forms.

HYPERCLAY: Contemporary Ceramics is on at Sydney’s Object Gallery from now until 8 January 2012. The exhibition will tour to venues nationally until 2014.
