Gregory Commercial Furniture expands its Vibe brand with a winning design from the Creative Vibe Competition 2010.

Ezgi Erdogan Yilmaz’s Konnect design was announced as winner of Gregory Commercial Furniture’s Creative Vibe Competition at a ceremony on 25 November 2010.

Future Seating was the theme, and Yilmaz’s Konnect was chosen out of seven finalists shortlisted for the award from a number of high calibre entries.
Yilmaz’s winning design will become part of Gregory Commercial Furniture’s Vibe brand portfolio, a series of locally designed and manufactured products from the Creative Vibe competition and Gregory’s unique designs.

The Creative Vibe design competition was launched in 2006 to entrants from Australia and New Zealand to recognise the potential of local designs to future industry growth.
This year, Gregory Commercial Furniture invited students to participate in a new student division of the awards, with contestants in the running to win a mentoring program with GCF house designer Kevin Brookes.

GCF’s commitment to local innovation and design will continue next year with the Creative Vibe Competition 2011.
