It’s official- the 2017 Shaw Contract Design Awards prize has been announced.
The Shaw Contract Design Awards program is an annual celebration of the incredible design stories behind global projects. Entries are open to all professional interior design firms, architecture firms, and end users, who have featured a Shaw Contract product in their project.
Winners are selected by a panel of independent judges with both geographic and market segment diversity, for either a Market Award or a Global Award. Market Award winners represent the highest caliber of work within an industry segment across the globe, and Global Award winners are the leading projects selected from market winners.
Each year an international design journey is created for the Global Award winners in appreciation of standout design talent. In 2017, two representatives from each Global Award winning firm will be invited as guests of Shaw Contract to experience Art Basel in Miami. This all-inclusive design journey features business class airfares, stunning accommodation, networking with international designers, and extraordinary experiences.
Art Basel truly reflects Shaw Contract’s belief that design can change the world. The global modern and contemporary art fair connects the world’s premier galleries and their patrons by serving as a meeting point for the international artworld, showcasing 20th and 21st century art with a strong curatorial perspective.
Entries are now open for the 2017 Shaw Contract Design Awards, and will close on the 24th February. To read more about the program or to submit your project click here.
