One of the first products in Danish architect Poul Henningsen’s world-famous PH system, the PH 3 ½ – 3 was designed in 1929 and based on the 3-shade principle.

Last year, to mark the 120th anniversary of the birth of Henningsen, Louis Poulsen launched a limited edition copper version of the iconic lamp.

The copper is untreated, meaning the lamp will develop a unique patina over time, the nature of which will be determined by its immediate surroundings. Should one choose to maintain the shiny surface, however, the PH 3 ½-3 can be buffed with copper polish.
