British designed contemporary furniture company, AND Furniture lands in Hong Kong to strengthen ties between London and Asia.
October 14th, 2013
Established in 2010, AND Furniture was established by London-based Melanie Nelson who wanted to source, design, manufacture and promote exceptionally crafted furniture for modern collection and design enthusiast.
AND’s recent arrival into Hong Kong was a natural evolution for the brand which not only offers a ‘point of difference’ to the Chinese market, but also sources international products and materials for local architects and designers.
The AND philosophy is rooted in the desire to explore new ideas and ways to approach and collaborate with artists and technicians who aspire to lead the way in terms of high-end production and evolution.
With a collaborative approach to design curation, AND strives to explore new ways to approach every day objects. Its crafted furniture is created with the design market in with the team regularly in touch with consults and artists in order to ensure premium production.
Furniture creations boast a balanced blend of form and function, with every day objects such as the end table or the ubiquitous coat rack re-interpreted.
AND Furniture will present at the 2014 Emerging Brands Pavillion at 100% Design, London.
