The bespoke design event will be launching in Hong Kong this year, powered by Indesign Media Group Asia Pacific.
April 4th, 2013
For the first time in Hong Kong, Indesign will be launching a specially curated boutique event experience in the fourth quarter of 2013 involving more than 20 leading industry suppliers and over 200 brands.
Working closely with the local design community in an interactive exhibition format, the inaugural Hong Kong Indesign will incorporate all the successful elements from the well-established Indesign events in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and most recently Singapore – the best brands across diverse industry sectors, crowd-pulling creative installations, exclusive launches and presentations, and the best new products by global leaders in the field of design.
Specifically adapted for the Hong Kong landscape and design industry, Indesign is turning the traditional trade show format into an experiential design showcase inspired by the highly curated Superstudio in Milan. One can expect a fusion of creativity and interaction between visitors and exhibitors, and a special emphasis on showcasing local talents.
This event is an opportunity for exhibitors to show the industry what they are all about – their personality, culture and energy – and gives the targeted audience of architects, interiors designers and creatives the opportunity to discover new design, build their industry knowledge and develop meaningful relationships.
To add to the buzz, satellite events will also be developed to coincide with Hong Kong Indesign, including design talks, networking events and student involvement, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Previous Indesign event exhibitors in Australia and Singapore have included powerhouse brands like Herman Miller, Interface, Haworth, Steelcase and Woven Image. The events have also enjoyed participation from top design firms such as Geyer, HASSELL, Woodhead, M Moser, Aedas and more.
Indesign is now fielding expressions of interest for involvement in this exciting new chapter in Asia’s design story. If you’re keen to have your brand take part or are interested in learning more about the event, please submit your expression of interest by emailing to info@hongkongindesign.com.
