The clean lines and sleek form of the Bika Chair offer a contemporary approach to workplace seating. Forma 5, a leading name in the office furniture market, is committed to developing products which meet the needs of their end users, with a particular focus on balancing visual aesthetics and ergonomics.
Although the chair appears simple in structure, the Bika Chair is highly innovative because of its customisable nature. Not only is the frame of the Bika Chair strong and flexible, but it also allows users to swap in interchangeable seat shells in a variety of colours and materials, such as wood upholstering and polyamide.
While utility underpins the design of the Bika, the significance of form was not sacrificed for sake of functionality in its creation. The large number of seat shell finishes available to customise the Bika gives designers a chance at creative freedom.
