Carpet Republic presents a new collection from Second Studio
July 2nd, 2012
Second Studio is a part of the Henzel Art & Design Group – one of the leading manufacturers of contemporary area rugs with a discerning global clientele. Their development department and design studio are situated in Gothenburg on the southwest coast of Sweden – an area rich in textile manufacturing history. Not only is the design and functionality of great importance at Second Studio, but also the quality of the composition of the carpets is of the highest demand.
All Second Studio rugs can be customised upon request, with both changing of colours and dimensions possible. Each individual order is carefully studied to create a unique rug that combines a client’s specifications and the distinctive aesthetic of Second Studio. They are experienced in working to strict timeline requirements and can produce large contract orders (e.g. for a hotel) or single pieces.
At Second Studio, they work closely with architects, interior designers and property developers, via their representative partners, to help meet their clients’ requirements for rugs. The result of these collaborations can today be found in public buildings, embassies, hotels, offices, retail chains, restaurants and private homes all over the world.
