Plus Architecture have used Staron® Solid Surfaces in different areas of their stunning and unique head office in St Kilda, Melbourme.
October 5th, 2011
Designed by the team at Plus Architecture, Staron® Solid Surfaces has been used to create a 4 metre long boardroom table. The material was selected due to its seamless nature and extends across the entire length and width in one smooth and monolithic surface.
Staron® was also used as a tabletop at a casual meeting area. Staron® Bright White contrasts with the vibrant green fabric used for the seating, that extends up the walls, ceiling and to the seating on the other side of the table.
Staron® was also used for the reception in Bright White, and has been clad to the top and down one side of the desk in an interesting shape and angle. The rest of the reception unit is made of polished concrete that continues to the floor. The contrast of the crisp Staron® with the darker industrial feel of the polished concrete is effective and creates visual and functional impact.
“Pro Solid’s professional fabrication have created a beautiful, edgy and minimalist design”, says Craig Yelland, Director of Plus Architecture.
