To see the latest, state of the art lighting systems, look no further than ERCO’s own Technical Centre.
June 29th, 2011
ERCO have used their own innovative LED lighting tools to light up the entrance foyer of their Technical Centre at the Lüdenscheid headquarters.
The original lighting system was primarily made up of low-voltage halogen lamps and PAR lamps. The foyer has now been updated with state of the art LED technology.
ERCO’s Logotec LED spotlights complement floor-to-ceiling glass façades which encourage in daylight.
The DALI Light System is applied for scenographic purposes and to save energy.
The result is a showcase of ERCO products in more ways than one – the updated lights use around 75% less energy and are expected to pay off in as little as 5 years through increased efficiency.
Whereas the halogen lamps had a lifespan of between 3,000 and 5,000 hours, LEDs have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
The implementation of LED lighting in ERCO’s Technical Centre entrance foyer embodies ERCO’s lighting philosophy and demonstrates the enormous potential of LED technology.
