It owns 175,000 hectares of freehold land and manages in excess of 90,000 hectares of plantations. Over the past 10 years, Gunns has experienced continued growth and is now Australiaís largest hardwood producer. The company operates 3 hardwood sawmills in the southwest of Western Australia, producing sawn Jarrah hardwood known for its beauty, warmth and durability. Gunns Premium Jarrah ranges in colour from rich reds to softer pinks, offering the versatility for projects of a commercial, residential or hospitality nature.
Product Range
Jarrah hardwood, for a range of interior and exterior applications including architectural joinery, flooring, indoor and outdoor furniture as well as structural and engineered applications. Jarrah (E. marginata) is grown only in the south-west of Western Australia. This durable hardwood will only improve with age, developing an increasingly rich, warm surface finish. Gunns also produces veneers for a more affordable solution for specifiers.
