Outdoor public seating has the power to lift a project, but equally, the wrong choice could really let a project down.

The ‘Silver Surf’ from Emanate provides a graceful, modern form, combined with strength to provide the perfect solution for public seating installations.
Resembling a long surfboard, ‘Silver Surf’ has a ‘surreal’ metallic finish with concave and convex surfaces reflecting ocean waveforms.
The monocoque structure of the seat – with the ‘shell’ bearing the weight – means that the bench is effectively a long load-bearing beam, making it extremely strong and materially efficient.
The seat gives the impression of a floating form – its aluminium extrusion construction allowing just two legs to support the six seat length while creating a slim profile from normal viewing angles. ‘Silver Surf’ can also be wall mounted to remove the need for legs altogether.
The durable seating surfaces employ a fine grooved texture to provide grip and minimise scratching, while upholstered pads in fabric, leather or PU/PVC are available for indoor uses.
Designed for use in public waiting areas, the seating is also tough enough for use in parks and underground train platforms, and is equally at home in corporate atriums, airports, shopping centres and cultural venues.
A range of configurations – including extension kits to join units – are available to suit most indoor and outdoor applications. ‘Silver Surf’ is Available in Australia through Emanate Design.
