Australian designer and manufacturer of ergonomic mounting solutions Atdec has introduced a new above desk USB power module accessory.
August 7th, 2015
Designed to fully integrate into the company’s monitor arm range, the Atdec Power Module is an intelligent USB charging station with two USB power outlets and two electrical outlets. Uninterrupted access to power is the name of the game here, without sacrificing or wasting electricity.
An internal electronic chip with smart Intelligent Device Recognition technology determines if a device is connected, what device it is, and how much power is needed. This means an optimal delivery of power to the device, no matter what the brand. This beautifully designed solution integrates seamlessly at the base of the Atdec Systema and Visidec Focus desk mounted monitor arms, improving work place ergonomics by moving power sources away from the desk and providing easy access to the latest universal fast charge technology.
User and device safety is paramount with the Power Module, with built in over voltage, over current, overheating and short circuit protection standard with the device.
Atdec has designed the power module with business environments in mind, where it offers considerable ergonomic occupational health and safety benefits – along with securing the safety of the power network. A commercial grade product, each Power Module undergoes rigorous testing, and is constructed from high quality materials, providing considerable cost saving and environmental benefits.
The Atdec Power Module is constructed an ABS/PC polymer alloys to ensure a robust construction and compliance with all international safety standards, yet the cardboard packaging maintains recyclability.
