Australia’s emerging artists are invited to participate in Melbourne’s 2010 Global Showcase.
August 19th, 2010
Tiger beer is inviting emerging Australian artists to participate in the Tiger Translate 2010 Global Showcase to be held in Melbourne this November.
In its 6th year, Tiger Translate is Tiger beer’s global lifestyle platform providing artists with the opportunity to engage in creative exchanges and collaborations with international artists and to showcase their work to a wide audience.
This year’s Australian collaboration will celebrate an artistic expression of the 2010 theme ‘Balance’ whereby artists will have the opportunity to express their own thoughts and feelings artistically on what “balance” means to them.
Tiger Beer is calling on designers, artists, illustrators, photographers, fashionistas and graffiti artists from across Australia to submit ideas and designs which reflect their interpretation of ‘Balance’ in modern life.
An exceptional panel of creative judges are being brought on board, among them the head art curator from the City of Sydney’s Art and About program Victoria Johnstone and Murray Bell of Semi Permanent, to review and judge the artists’ work.
Members of the public will also have the chance to view the artworks in Melbourne this December as well as online at tigerbeer.com.au/translate.
Submissions close Monday 1 November at midnight.
