Kettal has expanded one of its most versatile collections with a new extendable table that can accommodate unexpected additions to your alfresco dinner party.
August 16th, 2017
Launched by Kettal in 2011, the Bitta collection is a family of outdoor furniture characterised by aluminium frames with braided polyester and generous cushions.
The collection was designed by Italian architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni, who took the inspiration from the ropes used to moor boats (hence the name Bitta, which means ‘mooring’ in Italian).
“My aim was to create dense braiding that would still let the air through, reminiscent of the braiding of the ropes used to moor boats, which makes the pieces look lightweight. But at the same time, they look just like cosy nests in natural colours to sit back and relax in,” explains Dordoni.
Over the years Kettal has expanded the collection and its finishing options, making it one of the brand’s most versatile collections. The latest addition to the collection is a dining table that was debuted earlier this year.
The table features a wide aluminium frame with an extendable top available in aluminium, teak or marble with a generous length that would make sure late additions to your alfresco dinner party always have a place at the table.
In Singapore, Kettal is available from P5.
