Humanscale marked its Global Roadshow in Singapore with the launch of the Smart Ocean chair and monitor arm line and, of course, an evening of festivities.
September 21st, 2018
Humanscale’s Global Roadshow landed in Singapore on 24 August with the launch of two products: the Smart Ocean chair and the monitor arm line.
The Smart Ocean chair features the brand’s signature Form-Sensing Mesh Technology that instantly adjusts to the individual user’s body.
This technological mesh incorporated a recycled material called NetPlus, which is made from discarded ocean fishing nets collected by Bureo, a Chile-based company that collects this ocean pollutant and turned it into eco-friendly materials used by some of the most forward-thinking brands in the world.
Each Smart Ocean chair incorporates two pounds of NetPlus and features a lightweight, 100-per-cent recyclable aluminium frame that minimises its carbon footprint.
Available in three variants, Humanscale’s next-gen monitor arm line is designed to be installed on the edge of the desk, optimising the desk surface for its user.
Other features include a rubberised cable management that eliminates cable clutter, patented spring technology that enables smooth and uniform height adjustment and a quick release joint that instantly snap together for a secure and robust fit.
Humanscale celebrated the product’s arrival with a festive soiree for industry family and friends at its Club Street showroom. Highlights of the night included lucky draws that gave away both new products.
