Minotti has been a familiar presence at 30 Hill Street for over a decade. But now a new chapter has begun at the Raffles Hotel Arcade.
May 3rd, 2019
The refurbishment of the Raffles Hotel is inching toward completion, and new tenants have started moving in. Among them is luxury Italian furniture brand Minotti, which starts a new chapter in Singapore after more than a decade at 30 Hill Street.
The brand’s new space in Raffles Hotel Arcade (level 2) encompasses two wings (either side of the pedestrian arcade) and more than 5,000 square feet. The space was designed and styled by Minotti Studio, with members of the Italian team flying in to Singapore to work on the space.
Classic and new pieces are presented side-by-side in the hotel’s colonial-style setting, with dark-toned surfaces making a distinct contrast with the white-painted architecture.
Among the pieces showcased from the Minotti 2018 collection (coordinated by Rodolfo Dordoni) are the Alexander Seating System, Granville Seating System, Dan Dining Table, Milton Coffee Table and Russell Armchair.
