A new look in the former Light Brigade brings bold colours to a conservative Sydney suburb.
July 16th, 2010
The same space up a travertine staircase above the Light Brigade Hotel, now known as La Scala, has been spruced up once more by Annie Snell Designs to give it a sumptuous feel to compliment a revamped menu and cocktail bar.
“La Scala on Jersey offers a sophisticated menu with big bold flavours and we wanted the surroundings to reflect this. With so many quirky design elements, guests are sure to notice something different each time they dine,” said head chef Darren Simpson.
Bold colours, Astroturf walls and a chandelier composed of whisks were among the eclectic choices for the restaurant interior, which sit alongside more classic furnishings such as Bentwood chairs.
