Sputnik is a smartly designed response to the call for customisation and comfort in one stool
October 15th, 2012
This new collection of stools from Zilio A&C, Italy, is a marriage of functionality and contemporary aesthetics.
Across two stool heights, the Sputnik’s structural elements are celebrated in the product’s design features.
A foot rest at three heights results from one integrated metal piece doubling as a structural component and a key design detail.
This part is available in contrasting of complementary colours to the upholstery and timber finishes.
In the same way, the seat itself can be upholstered to complement or contrast with the timber finish – this effectively allowing customisation of the collection to suit your specification needs.
