The narrow profile allows for zero stepdown between interior and exterior environments
March 15th, 2013
As level thresholds increased in popularity this past decade, the designers at Stormtech turned their hands to perfecting a range of slimline drainage products. Their particular expertise in doortrack and threshold drains is clear, and, in addition to custom work solutions, Stormtech has developed an off the shelf level threshold solution.
The 65TDI is made of 316 marine grade stainless steel. This forms a 65mm wide linear wedgewire grate, with an integrated concealed channel that connects all sub sill sections. The system is suitable for all bottom rolling and top rolling doorsills.
The 65TDI allows doorsills to be drained, while also having zero stepdown between internal and external floor surfaces – perfect integration between inside and outside.
Its narrow profile minimises impact on design, and this aesthetic boon is matched by the ease of use and universal access requirements that it fulfills.
