Melbourne’s Rehau DesignHaus team has celebrated the launch of their all-new flagship store meets experience showroom in a stunning opening night gala!
To celebrate the first ever Rehau flagship store, over 90 of Melbourne’s design glitterati came out to the Melbourne showroom to enjoy a drink and revel in high tech designer goods.
The fantastic night was an introduction to the Rehau architectural range of high-performance windows, surface finishes and underfloor heating products, with the flagship store being a first for the company globally.
The event was held in support with corporate partner Audi Centre Melbourne, where those in attendance were also treated to an exclusive VIP preview of some of Audi’s most luxurious cars while enjoying the summer vibes of the tropical pink theme.
“The investment we have made in DesignHaus comes as we grow and develop our architectural solutions in the region,” announced Asia Pacific Deputy CEO Nils Wagner “Our leading edge research and development teams in Germany are focussed on ensuring the quality of our products while making certain they are aligned with design trends internationally”.
The Rehau DesignHaus is located in a charming turn of the century warehouse style building, which has been given a modern makeover from the architectural team at Fitzroy’s Taylor Knights. Taking advantage of the industrial feel of the original building, the stunning fitout composed of American Oak, Fibonacci terrazzo tiles and REHAU’s super matt black acrylic finishes created a beautiful space that lends itself naturally to events.
FourSide events led by Chef Justin Derrick maintained the tropical pink theme with pink gin cocktails, a pink carpet and their stunning menu of handheld and bowl food.
The event was a great success and a great step forward for Rehau, and we can’t wait to see how the design community employs this great new resource.
