The largest Camper store in the world has opened its doors in Seoul.
November 4th, 2010
The shop, Korea’s first Camper Together store, occupies three floors of a downtown building and is the brand’s largest outlet in the world.
Inspired by the brand’s slogan ‘Don’t Run, Just Walk’, renowned Zürich-based designer Alfredo Häberli has created a playful yet stylish space, with its dramatic red and white façade luring in unsuspecting pedestrians off the street.
The Seoul flagship store has traces of Häberli’s signature humour all over. In true Camper Together spirit, which promotes the brand’s collaboration with various designers and artists, Häberli was given free reign allowing him to unleash his creativity.
Tricycles (some even riding up the walls) are scattered around the store acting as display units for the vast collection of footwear. On the walls, Häberli’s amusing cartoon post-it notes offer your eyes a quick distraction from the never-ending assortment of shoes.
And if you need a quick break and sugar hit before the shopping adventure continues, the gleaming golden-detailed coffee bar on the first floor offers some respite.
