Light gaps are a thing of the past with the introduction of Designed Blinds Australia’s latest innovation – Overlap.
Not since the invention of Dual roller blind systems (another original Designed Blinds Australia invention) have roller blinds taken such a leap forward.
Our unique bracketing system means that multiple roller blinds can now be linked together, overlapping each other in order to completely eliminate light gaps between adjacent blinds.
It’s what Overlap doesn’t have that makes this product so unique. No moving parts. No complicated componentry. No fussy gadgets. Overlap is a simple, understated design concept that makes us wonder why no-one ever thought of it sooner.
When combined with our new low-cost motorisation systems, Overlap allows you to cover vast expanses of glass with a window furnishing that can be operated at the touch of a button. No manual lifting or exertion is required.
Roller blinds are already considered to be a highly aesthetic window furnishing product, however the sleek, uncluttered look of roller blinds has always been let down by the presence of light gaps between blinds. Plus, dangling chains and the unsightly appearance of roller brackets and aluminum tube also detracts from an otherwise perfect window furnishing. When the total package of Overlap plus Move motorisation plus a pelmet is employed, all of these issues are put to an end. Overlap realizes the full aesthetic potential of roller blinds.
Dimensions: One of the key benefits of Overlap is that it eliminates the need for very wide roller blinds. Smaller blinds tend to hold their shape better than large ones, and so by overlapping a number of smaller blinds, great widths can be covered without any light gaps showing and without the fabric sagging.
Delivery Time: 2-4 weeks
Applications: Overlap is a flexible system that allows you to link the operation of many blinds. It is especially well suited to meeting rooms, bedrooms, large living areas, or any place where you may wish to eliminate light gaps.
