Ready for a little luxury underfoot? Armadillo’s rustic ‘Nook’ collection delivers… head to toe!
September 15th, 2022
What’s not to love about a tiny piece of luxury that perfectly greets your feet! Armadillo brings three new additions to the much loved ‘Nook’ collection. Expanding what is essentially a family of rugs designed to bring a touch of softness and texture to small spaces, the new additions: Mesa, Hemlock, and Petra provide that delicious layer of warmth and texture. Additionally, the small size makes introducing textural nuance and natural shades to any room easy.
Petra is the one your feet will love you for. This Moroccan Berber style rug in fact holds pride of place as one of Armadillo’s most decadent styles. With a hand-knotted wool weave made with a 30 millimetre pile, the longest in the collection, Petra is a deeply warm embrace underfoot and is perfectly placed next to the bed or in any small space that requires a layer of luxury.

Mesa’s thick and durable weave is crafted by hand using a rare, one sided soumak technique to explores both the textural and artistic qualities of jute. The result is a luxurious rug of remarkable substance in a size designed to complement any nook, corner or compact space.
Completing the introductions Hemlock is the understated and effortlessly cool cousin of Armadillo’s sumptuous Winnow wool rug. Rigorously handwoven with the same flatweave technique, but made instead with hard-wearing jute. Hemlock is a rug of natural elegance that is perfectly suited to everyday living and high-touch spaces.
