This year’s theme is Design That Moves, as the Festival explores design in, on and around projects that are transformative, mobile and networked.

State of Design attracted over 150,000 visitors in 2010, and this year’s event is sure to be another huge one for design professionals and design lovers!

Highlights of the 12-day event will include Look.Stop.Shop, a design-led walk around shopfront installations in Melbourne’s City Centre; DESIGN:MADE:TRADE, a showcase of leading furniture, fashion and industrial design brands; and Melbourne Open House (MOH), which offers free access to some of the city’s unique places over the final weekend of the State of Design Festival.
