Space Furniture will launch the Vitra G-Star Prouvé RAW Collection at Brisbane Indesign.
March 16th, 2012
Brisbane Indesign’s fashion focus this year makes it the perfect opportunity for Space Furniture to launch the latest addition to their range – the Vitra G-Star Prouvé RAW Collection.
The collection brings together furniture manufacturer Vitra and fashion label G-Star as they reimagine and reinterpret 15 classic mid-century furniture pieces by French designer Jean Prouvé.
It’s the first collaboration of this kind for Vitra. G-Star have taken Prouvé’s iconic product designs from the 1930s to the 1960s and given them a contemporary spin with new finishes in warm, subdued tones that emphasise the form of each piece.
The result is a beautiful synergy of design philosophies and a celebration of balance, logic and engineering in design.
Look out for it in the Space Furniture showroom at 10 James Street, Fortitude Valley during Brisbane Indesign.
