Sydney-based artist awarded coveted sculpture prize

Sydney sculptor Dave Horton has been awarded the $30,000 NAB Sculpture Prize for this years Sculpture by the Sea exhibition.
Announced at the launch of the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition last week, Horton is represented by Defiance Gallery in Enmore and is a resident of Stanwell Park.
The world famous Sculpture by the Sea is exhibiting 106 sculptures from Australia and around the world and is available for free public viewing, placed all the way along the 2km Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk.
This one-of-a-kind annual expo runs from 1-18 November 2007 in Sydney and will move to Cottesloe for March 2008.
